An idea...you could sew each separately then insert the lining..wrong sides together. Thus no undone seam on the inside. Fold up lining and finish the bottom the same way

That is YUMMY fabric, and I really like how the raw edge are bound on that mitt! That's a lovely set :)

I just printed off a bat stuffy pattern - I want to try to "whip it up" to add to a gift package I need to mail tomorrow :) I hope my bat turns out as pretty as your gift set for your MIL!
