Trying something new

I am going to try something new and do this kids clothing week hosted by elsiemarley. It looks like fun!

An hour everyday of making something for my kids!!! Off to find some cute patterns...

Yea! Sounds like fun! I will join you! I just ordered 2 new patterns from Oliver & S and they should be here this week. Boy Birthday Cal turned 3 on Friday. He wanted a great big humongous tractor and we did our duty to get him a tractor. I did make Space Boy because I had to do something handmade to give myself a good conscience. He is thoroughly unimpressed by my handmade creations. I knew this but then comforted myself by thinking Space Boy would look cute on his book shelf. I guess he was kind of a gift for me? Day 1 turned out pretty cute! I am not super ambitious about the Kids Clothing Week Challenge but day 1 turned out pretty well. I had this one planned and already cut out though. Here is the 4.5 year old! I used a lightweight corduroy I bought at JoAnn's last year. The pattern is this one by danslalune. It was a nice pattern with good instructions. Here are some more pics...
