I have been having fun with this bunny. I made 2 more over the weekend and after some seam ripping and adjusting I think I finally have my final, perfected bunny for the pattern! I need to get it done soon since Easter is only 5 weeks away! Although I also picture these sweeties in a baby room, don't you? That take some pressure off!
UPDATE! Pattern available now.
The ears are what are different on each one. Turns out that it is challenging to get good bunny ears! I actaully looked at lots of pictures of real bunnies to get a good idea of proportion, placement and shape. Thank you for your suggestions about the button eye- again it brings in that folkiness I like but is still modern enough to make it look fresh.
This bunny below is the one the pattern will be based on. The ears are wider and placed a little further back on the head than the original bunny I shared in this post.
I bought enough if the lovely Heather Ross fabric from Amy to make another bunny AND make another 3 layer clutch (which is waiting on a magnetic snap!) The yellow and pink together are so pretty! I can't wait to finish the clutch and show that off too! Thanks to Amy for the fabric suggestion.
Cal agreed to hold the bunny for pictures but only if he could keep his dragon costume on. We dsicussed that dragons and bunnies are probably friends and so it would make sense to include this picture here. I always see bunnies and dragons hanging out around town, don't you?
Alrighty- coming soon! The bunny sewing pattern. I am hoping for early next week. Better get going!

I just ordered your adorable bunny pattern and used paypal. I sent a note with my current email address to seller, but noticed after submitting that my old email address was on the paypal account. Please read the note and send my pdf file to the correct address. I'm so excited to get sewing my bunnies and give them away for Easter!
Thank you!

Love the bunny and the changes you've done. That picture of Cal is just adorable. I have to wonder years from now what he's going to think about his insistence at wearing that dragon costume for the picture. LOL

These are adorable - but not as adorable as your boy.

These turned out darling - love the tails - are you using a bulky yarn? The tails look so nice and full - I can never make a really full looking pom pom.

Love him. The yellow one is my favorite, Cal in costume is a close second.

In love!!! Easter for my 4 year old done! Now... I'm new to "fancy blogging" as I like to call it. At Christmas I made an owl purse based off of your design. I didn't do a tutorial or anything, but shared the purse on my blog and it's gotten popular on pinterest. I want to make sure that I don't make you upset (because I may or may not be your #1 fan) So here is a link, please let me know if you would like it to say something else. I feel as though I gave credit where credit is due, but I just am unfamiliar with all of the technicalities. I know you work so hard on your patterns and I don't want to short change you! Thanks, Melissa (#1 fan!)
