My 4 year old Annie choose #10!  I loved hearing about all your caroling experiences. It was so nice of you to share all those memories.  

That is one sweet story.  Seriously.  Really, Really, nice.  

Here is what is happening here in Western PA...

 

 

SNOW ALREADY!  And yes,that is my son wearing hand me down pink and purple mittens.  It's pretty even though I still have to bundle them all up and take it all off, they actually play by themselves out there!  That's new and big for me.  I am a southerner and I like looking at it out the window not playing in it unless there is a lot and I won't get too cold!

While they play out there I have been sewing.  I put a couple of owls in my Etsy shop that I had cut out and sitting on the shelf for months.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I also finished an art caddy today.  This is sorta a miracle for several reasons.  It is a special order for a really nice lady from Colorado and she wanted 3.  I have not made one of these since I finished the pattern.  I get asked to make one a couple times a month and always say no since I feel like I just don't want to take the time to do it with the kids and the patterns, etc.  This was probably my hardest pattern to make~ I had to make it over and over to get the sizes just right and it was a challenge to figure out the materials to make it strong enough to stand up to coloring books and pads of paper.  I needed a break from that stinker after it was finished.  

It had been so long that I actually had to follow my own pattern!  Which was pretty funny and I was more than a little impressed with myself that is all worked out so easily.  This is not a bag you make in an hour during nap time, especially since so much of your time is spent cutting out all those layers, but I forgot how simple it is once you get going.  Here is the picture of the one I finished today.

Cute huh?  I copied the fabric combo from my pal Amy Dunn.  She has such great taste in fabric!  Thanks for letting me copy you Amy :).
